Closed Word, reopened, opened New blank document = white So, I created a new file in C:\Users\(myname)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates, set it to the look I want, and saved it named "Normal". When I reopened and selected New blank document, the page was again white but the border I had added (and had previously remained) was now gone. (I did not change this.)
